Get a campy compatible freehub for the Fulcrum and use a Campy 11 speed cassette on your 11 speed Shimano group. I am going to build up a new (to me) road bike, and given that I have these wheels and a few cassettes that are 10 speed, I think I will stick with it for now. Have heard from several people who've used them that they're nearly perfect. Neither will work without a new cassette body (if available) and redish.Įasiest route is use Wheels Mfg Accellerator cassette, which is an 11 speed Campy cassette made to work on 10 speed Shimano cassette bodies.
If no ring spacer is needed, than 11 won't fit. I thought the rule of thumb was if you had to add a spacer under your 10 speed cassette to get the top lock nut to tighten, then it was 11 speed compatible. They are both a few years old and Shimano / Sram 9/10 compatible. With 10-speed systems, you could still find some cassettes with a 12 tooth small cog, but they became less common.
